    Weekends are the best opportunity to visit Costa Rica's tropical beaches and
lush national parks. Active volcanoes, white water rafting, rain and cloud forests,
coral reefs, and tropical jungles are some other options.
Weekday tours focus on attractions relatively close to San José such as museums,
coffee plantations, nearby volcanoes and botanical gardens.

    Tours and excursions suggested here are optional and are not included
in the “Program Fees”.  Please ask for pricing at our campus

  • Surf lessons
  •     Del Mar Surf Camp provides qualified surf instructors for a professional & safe training through providing a maximum ratio of 2 students to one instructor. Depending on the tides, the day starts with a surf lesson where you will learn the basics of surfing, safety tips, paddling techniques, standing up on a board and riding waves. Then they get you in the water and teach you about paddling out, safety in the water & then catching the right wave!  
     

        Intensa students have a special rate of $50 per
    2-hour lesson that includes: equipment, instructor and transportation within Jaco.

  • Manuel Antonio National Park

  • Four days of immersion Spanish language lessons followed by three days on the ocean
    in Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park, where you can put into practice what you´ve learned. Among the many additional adventure activities available there, you might consider these:

    • Visiting Manuel Antonio.
    • National Park.
    • Horseback riding on the beach or in the mountains.
    • White water rafting (there are several rivers to choose from) Ocean, river or mangrove.
    • Forest kayaking.

    NOTE

    • Classes are from Monday thru Thursday and Adventure Friday thru Sunday.
    • Ask for our special price for groups of 2 or more persons.
    • INTENSA makes a real, reasonable effort to group students according to their oral proficiency level. It sometimes happens, however, that a student level does not correspond to any of the existing levels, in which case the student will be given three hours of private lessons instead of four in a group at no extra cost, until another student is found at the same level.
