Posada de Belén (Shelter)
We provide English lessons for teen mothers from 12 to 18 years old, to facilitate their search for a job that allows them to support themselves and their children. Unfortunately, most of them have suffered abuse or extreme poverty, which is why the National Children’s Department (PANI) has referred them to this shelter. The administrators are working to extend their stay until they become 21 years old, for them to have enough time to complete their studies and prepare to become fully independent. Let us know if you want to give them a hand. |

A cleaner air
Intensa has reserved 25 acres of trees in the area of Santa Eduviges of Peñas Blancas in San Ramón, province of Alajuela, very close to La Fortuna, San Carlos, where the Arenal Volcano is located. |

Recycling programs
At Intensa, we separate our wastes of paper, plastic and glass to donate them to a women association who works with the municipality of San Pedro of Montes de Oca, in the collection of recyclable materials to manufacture new products. |
